Microsoft, with its Windows 7, has removed one of the most useful features it had with XP and Vista. Previously, we were able to drag a toolbar and dock it to one of the sides of the desktop. This could also be achieved with dragging a folder to a side of the desktop to create a toolbar where we can place shortcuts and links for convenient use. All that was gone with Windows 7.

Secure Site Files Access with SFTP and HostGator

If you own a web hosting account, it is very likely that you use FTP access to upload and download files for your website. Archiving your Emails with Outlook and Gmail

Users who use Outlook with IMAP to access their Gmail account (whether regular Gmail or Google Apps Gmail) will have problems when they attempt to archive their Emails using Outlook AutoArchive or manually initiating an Outlook archiving process.
There are 2 issues that prevent archiving from being successful with Outlook:

  • Gmail Related Problem: Gmail manages Emails in a different way than what usually Email Servers/Services do.
    • Gmail uses labels instead of folders. Multiple labels can be assigned to the same Email; and when you get a new Email it will automatically have 2 labels: Inbox and “All Mail”.

MUST re_cover! AutoCAD virus, how to recover your drawings

Have you seen MUST re_cover! text showing up when you open your AutoCAD drawing? This is not an error message produced by AutoCAD or Windows, it is a text produced by a variant of acad.vlx virus that appears as a drawing.
