USB Disk Security
One big source of viruses is the USB flash drive, especially for those who heavily use it with other computers (like school, college, Internet Café, or office computers). This is an essential product and a must-have to make sure that no Autorun or malicious threats are present in your Flash Drive.
Browser Security: NoScript
This is a must have addon for Mozilla Firefox browser. Yes, it means that you need Firefox to have it. I am not against using other browsers; in fact, I also use Google Chrome, but to protect yourself against bad scripts you should primarily use Firefox especially when you are surfing / searching through the Internet and not going to a well-known websites that you believe it’s safe to use.
To Install the NoScript addon, you need to access the addon page using the Firefox web browser.
Of course, both Firefox and NoScript are free software.
